  1. I decided to go with Yeo instead of Steele for my first trade. Gives me an extra 80k to put into my bank or another player. What should I do?
    T/U: Bank the 80k for a future trade and bring in Ridley?
    T/D: Use the 80k to upgrade to Haynes instead?

        Downgraded all my under performers to rooks & mid pricers
        Got 8 rooks on field to upgrade
        1 mill to spend
        19 trades
        Going Rowell to yeo sideways trade
        Viney & arts score about the same maybe & both have good JS
        That trade would make me about 300k more to spend when the premos get going “ hopefully “

    2. I’d trade out Noble and Rowell and bring in another premo and a rookie.
      That should go close to getting you Nick Haynes and an Aarts for example, and swing one of your For/Mids into the midfield. Basically bring in a permo and a rookie from Noble and Rowell.

      Rankine is going to play so him and Aart should generate you some cash for the next 5+ rounds and you’ve got a few cows fattening up nicely in the shorter term.

  11. Rowe to Fyfe? Traded Fyfe out last week but I think he’s going to be the highest scoring mid from here. Just pains me to waste 2 trades on him!

          In my change of mind to not pick him I forgot to move Starcevich to my depleted backline, didn’t do it so now screwed with 2 dohnuts in the backline, now do I bring in a backline premium instead….not what I wanted to do!!!!’

    1. King and the saints have freo this week so I’ll be loopholing King, but if a loophole isn’t available I’d field him anyway. Plus McInerney isn’t guaranteed to play this week, he is listed on the fringe of an extended sunday squad.

  23. Boys, help!!!

    I need to now get rid of Naismith since Xerri got dropped. I also have a donut in the defence. I’m going to have to trade out Rowell and swing Rivers to the mid bench so I can bring in a defender.

    Do I:
    TU: bring in Gawn and Williamson( or Ash/Butler If named) and leave myself no money and another risky rookie down back
    TD: take a punt on Marshall and bring in Ridley?

    My current defence is: Doc, Sicily, Doedee, Starc, Hill, Rivers (Noble, Gould)

    TU: Aarts in for either Budarick/Georgiades & cop a donut in Def;
    TD: Avoid the donut with a lesser rookie

    Only adds to my frustration over not getting Young early

  41. With T Brown dropped ( so he won’t lose any money this week) I’m now undecided which of these 2 to trade out,

    TU= T Brown
    TD= Budarick

    Leaning towards T Brown out as at least Budarick is still getting games and has the handy DPP but that BE of 61 is a worry.

  50. Not quite sure what the correct strategy is when it comes to trying to balance winning league games and doing well overall. Is my aim to try and have as many POD players as possible? Or to try and have as many similar players as possible, especially if they’re good players?
    For example, I’m tossing between choosing Haynes and Lloyd. My opponent has Haynes but not Lloyd. Should I get Lloyd as a POD player and hope he scores more than Haynes? Or is the best strategy to just get Haynes to get rid of another POD premo?
    Or should I not be thinking about that at all and just choose the player who I think will play the best for the rest of the season?

    I know Ridley is the better choice for the extra $81K but will he keep up his great scoring with McKenna back in the team? But he does get the extra game to play at some stage this season, where I’d get the higher of his 2 scores…..Decisions!

  60. Let it be know that based on brilliant advice from the great SCT comrades, it has been decided to go with Neale over Grundy as captain. (SCTTL)
    Let it also be known that if Grundy does score more than Neale, then my outgoing list of Christmas best wishes will be a lot smaller this year.

    Ps ATM I still have Gawny as Capt over Neale in the public leagues (with Goldy) based on the theory(?) If Grundy does better, then so will Gawny.

    1. 9/10 would go Lloyd, but Father Dougal can be very persuasive! Brought in Haynes and I’m very keen to see how he plays this week. Looked great last week and should feed off the poor forward entries for PA this week. Good luck with whatever you decide 🙂
