I’ve been dreading this moment for a long time……..wondering when exactly it would happen……..trying to push myself for one more effort, one more season……..unfortunately real life has reared its ugly head so high that I have no other choice……..
It’s time for me to give up my post here at supercoachtalk dot com. I leave in the knowledge that the website has never been stronger as the last twelve months. We’ve managed over 2.7 Million page views and an average of 5000+ visitors per day at peak stages.
I’m very proud of all the contributors and part-time analysts over the last five years. I’m not going to go through each Coach individually (I’ve done that in numerous ‘Thank You’ posts), you know who you are. Without all of your help, the website wouldn’t have run as well as it has in my time at the helm.
Many thanks again to Motts for letting me run his venture for so long. Personally it provided plenty of drive and purpose for myself, away from the usual monotonous nature of a simple ‘Hausmann’ 😉
My wife was handed a new project at work………running a restaurant here in Southern Germany. It’s formed into ‘our baby’ over the last ten weeks since opening up and is consuming much of our spare time (mainly weekends). The way it’s caught on with the locals is just amazing……so much so that we’re nearly fully booked in the lead-up to Christmas with work parties and the like. If you’re ever in the area, check out Gasthaus Bären in Deißlingen……..we can have a chat about footy over a few frothies 😉
I’ll still visit the site frequently…….God knows I need all the help I can get in SuperCoach. I won’t rule out a return because I always enjoyed the challenge and I can picture coming back to it at some stage. I wish Motts and the Contributors the best of luck for the next step!
Last but not least, thank you to all the Coaches out there that have visitied the site frequently and infrequently. Without our loyal Coaches, we’d have packed it in long ago. Best of luck with your teams, Coaches!
