  1. I have 3 trades left. Ed Curnow is seriously underperforming, and I should be able to trade him to Macrae. Should I do it?

T/U: Yes, worth the extra points

    T/D: No, save the trades

    1. Exact same boat here but with 2 trades remaining, think I might do it. Although keep in mind that Carlton have gold Coast this week.

  2. Thought i might have to upgrade roughy before finals , but buddy is going worse , anyone asking if he will go on next year?

    1. I for one am not feeling sorry for Sydney as buddy appears to have taken his first step down the slippery slide. Looks like the flag gamble will fail. Now watch him come out and smash my bombers as he always does.

      1. buddy when you watch him still looks as fit as ever and is a vital cog in sydneys side. he still tears teams apart he is just pushing up the ground instead of kicking bags from the goal square. SC scores dont always reflect a blokes game.
He is still a gun and as good as he was 2-3 seasons ago. & No im not a sydney fan guys haha

  4. Two trades left should i keep St Kilda Jimmy Webster or trade him out if trade him out who should i go for?

  5. How have you people got all these trades left? I’ve got two, and I’m holding on to them for dear life.

    1. Its all about luck. I have been very fortunate with trades this year…only had to trade out crouch early for injury purposes, and fyfe of course…..for Oliver. As a result, cant lose top spot and still have four trades. Need to move that brown stain Robinson on before finals to Gray Walters/Mundy/Degoey, but can wait another week as have enough cash regardless of a Robinson price fall. No point in trading this week….can only risk coping an injury and burn two trades instead of one.

      1. Well done if you had Robinson at the start of the year โ€“ recent form aside, he provided great output for very little money in the first half of the season.

  6. 6 trades left…

    C.Curnow to T.McDonald

Fwd line is: Smith, Gray, Heeney, McLean, Walters, Curnow (Ahern, Keefe)

    TUp: Yes
    TDown: Better options available

  7. 7 trades left and want to bring in another 2 premo forwards. Then loophole Petracca in forward line and Dalihaus in kids. Who to bring in first

Have Heeney Westhoff Smith McClean Petracca Dalihaus (Spargo T Smith)

    TU Gray
    TD Mundy

  8. Sicily to
    T/u Lloyd
    T/d D.Smith
Good luck to all in sc finals and to those in their quest to make it this week

  9. Sicily has put me in a bad spot, but I waited until this week to decide what to do with him.

2 trades left, playing for league.

TU – Sicily and Mirra for LLoyd and a rookie (play Mihoceck D6)
TD – Sicily and ZGL for Webster and Shaw

Q – How can I trade Sicily and ZGL for Webster and Shaw? Sicily is in my forward line…

    4

    6
  10. Robinson straight to gray, or swing tmac fwd and Lloyd or Hurley?
    Tu option
    Td option 2
    Comment…if option 2.

  11. 3 trades left 11th overall i’m holding onto them for dear life. carnage could strike at any time. Weakest players are Ryan at d6 and Buddy at F6.

    1. Good luck Nateo hope you make it in the top 10! could have some luck your way I’m almost certain 1st and 2nd are out of trades they are both holding long term injured players and first used Rice as cover this week.

          1. Well done Nateo.

Just out of interest, how many players do you have from your original round 1 team?

I’ve only got 9 this year.
Injuries and spud rookies have been cruel.

  12. Thoughts on Jayden Short in at D6? My trade plans have been ruined due to injuries, and I’ve held onto doedee for much longer than planned.
I’ll have to use 2 out of my last 3 trades to get lloyd, which isn’t ideal, so I’m thinking saving a trade, and bringing in a POD could be good.
(current defence: Yeo, Simmo, Laird, Hurley, Hurn, Doedee)

TU: Short and 2 trades left
TD: Lloyd and 1 trade left

  13. 1 trade left for me so will be keeping it. Threw it all in with my other two trades on the weekend to boost the ranking and it backfired.

Very tempting to burn the trade on a mid/fwd non playing loophole as I have good bench cover and am not able to loophole at the moment which is very frustrating. Although I’d kick myself if a ruck went down….

  14. 3 trades left. I have Fritsch at F7 and Ahern at M9 with DPP cover in defense via TMac if needed.

So, I am thinking of trading Rockliff to Josh Kelly.

T/U – do it for the points boost.
T/D – not enough trades left to burn one here.

    10

  15. 4 trades left and important league match this week. Trading out Sicily, likely for tmac. Fritsch still on field so looking to upgrade t Smith in fwds to set up a loop. With tmac as first target can then get either fwd or Def with roughly 460k.
    Tu Gray
Td Darling (back his early season form to return)
Comment for other suggestions from either line
    Thanks in advance

    1. Iโ€™m waiting one more week, Macrae will go crazy 20,21,22 has a nice draw for the finals safe to wait a week as a harder game this week

      2

    1. I went with Kelly, just cos they need to win EVERY game from here for a top 4 finish and Macrae doesnโ€™t have that incentive. He did finish very well last year though.

      1. Great finals choice Macrae
        Port Adelaide (miss)
        Saints -20 -85 last game
        North – 21 -122 last game
        Carlton-22 -141 last game

  16. Should I keep Bayley Fritsch

    TU: Keep Bayley Fritsch
TD: Trade him out for Jordan De Goey
Rem. Salary 504.3K Give me ideas

    1

    4
        1. I know de Goey scored well this week and Westhoff and Gray have been posting average scores of late, but … Iโ€™d back either of them to get more points than de Goey from here to seasonโ€™s end.

Just a view. More to luck than judgment this time of year I reckon, you could pull the stats to argue for each of them.

Good luck whatever you decide ๐Ÿ™‚

  17. Need to replace Dahlhaus who is done for the year.

    T/U Westoff (tough run home)

    T/D McLean (easier run home)

    Comments: Menegola, T-Mac, Mundy.

    Cash no issue.

    1. McLean has been struggling the last few weeks with the shoulder knock he took against PTA back in Rd13. By all accounts he is only just back to 100%, so I am expecting him (hoping to be honest!) to resume his pre-injury numbers. He was averaging 106.7 up until that game. His last 5-Rd ave. is 90 and his 3-Rd ave. is 86.7. Because of that drop in form he is $50k cheaper than the Hoff, but I would expect minimal difference in aggregate pts between the two of them to season’s end.
Tending to the mean and all that. Hoff is spending some time in the ruck again though (with Ryder out) so there’s another factor to consider. Hoff has a huge ceiling but can go missing. McLean tends to be more consistent.
      Probably haven’t helped much!!
I have them both and TMac and Mundy. I’d pick Hoff and McLean above the others (incl. Menegola), but there is really no right or wrong decision at this time of year.
Good luck whatever you decide ๐Ÿ˜‰

      1. Mate thank you for those thoughts. I was wondering what had caused McLean’s drop-off. Looks like his role has remained consistent throughout the year.

Was leaning towards him anyway because of his consistency and easier draw. Cheers

        1. Chillo gives Menegola a decent write-up in Fllen Premiums this morning. Worth a look
I like Hoff or Wallis too. There are a few options. Even Riewoldtโ€™s on a hot streak as Richmond lift towards finals

  18. Well, had 1 trade left last week, lost Nic Nat and Scicily, played Battle and Crossley and i think a combined score of about 75 in a score of 2400 to save the trade, sitting a game and percentage on top of both ladders so will finish on top in both, question is Scicily can go to Jack Macrae this week with Westhoff or McLean going fwd hoping Crossley plays the last weeks or do i trade Nic Nat and play Battle at fwd 6, or just save the trade

    1. Given you are in the finals, it might be best to hold fire? It would hurt if you brought in Macrae this week only for him to hurt himself in a game when you really didn’t need him. Is BE is 120ish so you wouldn’t think he will go up in $$.

  19. Since Dahlhaus is out for the year, I am wondering how good Wallis would be for an F6. Has a fairly easy run home, but plays Richmond in the final game. Also 1% POD

Averages 94, and has a low score of 79 and a high 116 which was last game. He is known for scoring quite big at times but never can put a full season together so i am unsure whether he can string the last 5 games together after coming back round 13.
I’d be trading Fritsch for him and i have 4 trades left, 3 if this goes through, so is it worth it???

    TU – Yes
    TD – No

    1. Love his consistency but not his injury history. If I had four trades left I’d consider the gamble, but I only have two. Like you say he can go big. Actually 103 last game for back-to-back tons! He’ll be a free agent at year’s end so he may be out to impress!!
      Good luck whatever you decide.

  20. for those looking to replace dahl & sicily still look at gunston.
hopefully takes sicily’s role that he trialed and looked at home in 2017. clarko rates his D.E by foot and can take the intercept marks also a decent POD.

  21. 3 trades left.
TU. do i trade webster to short/McDonald

    or

TD. trade naughton to O’Riordan and bench webster till he returns.

O’riordan avg of 82 and much better cover than naughton for later.
but webster needs to return SOON

    1. I voted TD, but Maverick is repose this in PartII or table for 2 where you will get more responses. This thread is almost dead. I only spotted it in the โ€˜recent commentsโ€™ column and it will soon disappear from there!
      Good luck
