I heard on the new last night that Matt Mcguire is having an operation from the clash with Bolton that he got rubbed out 2 weeks for. Anyone have the latest on this one? Time to cash in? Also Silvagni looks like he will go back onto the Rookie list… more dilemmas!!!

On SEN last night, Finey & Derek Humphrey Smith mentioned something about the appeal being delayed by 24 hours b/c he hurt his nose in then clash with Bolton. D.H.S felt that the report would be overturned.

It does look likely that Silvagni will go back on the rookie list, but, I think I will stick with him until I know for sure. This, of course is dependant on Maguire being available to play b/c those two and Mitch Farmer are the last three defenders on my list, and I don’t trust Farmer at this stage to get me a score. Yeah, I got that one wrong ( :
I may need to trade 1 or 2 defenders depending on what happens at selection/tribunal. Maybe a sideways Farmer into P.Davis trade is the short tem answer. I’m not sure.
This defensive commotion may end up saving Rioli’s ass!!

Ideally Silvagni will be able to stay and mature into a figure that will allow me to trade him and Maguire into heater or someone similar.

Silvagni has been given more of a negating role in recent weeks, hence his lower SC scores, so I doubt his price will increase much more.

Des Headland is now a LTI so SOS might be alright.

The Headland situation may open the door for Fyfe to get a good run at it, which may be good for those of us seeking to make some f/l trades.
Which reminds me, what is the go with Moore’s injury? Is he now SC poison?

I’ve heard his name a couple of times recently, but, don’t really know much about him. Is he an Adelaide rookie? A defender? Is there any good oil to be spilt?

Nothing re: Brodie Miles from the Doggies? Was omitted last week with an ankle injury, so is no news good news? Really want him to play so his value rises.

Johno pulled up sore last week, so Moles might be he’s replacement ( F/C)

Whats going on with Johnno? Is it the end of the road for him? He seems like a durable type.

Other changes aside, Boyd is returning this week, so it might just be a straight Johnson—Boyd for the Dogs with no other changes. Best to wait until the final teams are called on Friday, as Rocket LOVES to play games with selection.

SOS was elevated for Headcase so dont hit the panic button yet. Although I see Mitch Bown isnt listed for Geelong, have they elevated the IPod for Motlop yet?

Any1 know what Jarrod Waite’s deal is.

Any chance he’s gonna get a run in the 1′s this week?
