2013 Byes

N Riewoldt v Crameri

by Motts on May 22, 2012

So much has been written about the M/F DPP’s this year but we shouldn’t be writing off the big key forwards because clearly they still have a role to play in the game and these 2 blokes play it very, very well.

Which one would you get on board this week if all you were considering was the players themselves (ie don’t factor in your bye strategy)?

I went a straight swap Christensen to Rooey last week, very happy. Did you see the first goal he kicked on Sunday? Second efforts were great. If it were Buddy Franklin the commentators woulda been saying it was goal of the week.

Same reason I chose Crameri, just can’t risk Rooey and his injury-prone knee

Ross Lyon can be partially to blame for Roos downturn. Now the saints are Playing a slightly more attacking brand of footy nick is producing slightly better scores.
Plus seeing freo play the negative style Ross played is warming this saints heart.
The game against Carlton was a prime example. 4 minutes go go 3rd quarter saints up by 11. Ross would of bottled it up and gone either 11 or 5 points up. Watters keeps pressing and takes a 17 point lead. So much more enjoyable.
