    1. I think he can hold Narkle’s place for at least the next 3-4 weeks, and potentially will play when we rest Gaz. Depends on his form, he’ll end up competing with guys like Atkins/Narkle for a spot.

    1. yes Houston is a good shout now hes got the role as a genuine onballer as u can see hes starting in the centre square again this weekend
      only 452K as well now would be the time to bring him in should be a solid D4-6 for the rest of the season

  27. What’s more important if I have Fyfe

    TU : Trade out Fyfe, replace with a premium (T Mitchell or Treloar) and Rankine in as my 2nd trade
    TD: Worry about Fyfe next week & trade out 2 non playing rookies (McInerney, Rivers, Brander, Noble, Green, D Cameron, D Davis) for Rankine and one of Simpson/McPherson

    1. Depends on your rookie stocks, Lisa.

      If you’ve got a lot of dead rookies, go for a double downgrade to sure up your cash gen and deal with Fyfe next week.

      1. Decided on trading in Treloar & Rankine…then did the usual Lisa move and reversed trades 5 minutes before kick off – and brought in Simpson & Rankine instead. Figured 2 rookies that will go up in price is more important at this stage, and Treloar may even drop in price for next week – so now have a nice $695k to play with next week, with more rookies ready to go and 2 upgrades to decide on. Now watching Treloar on 76 at 1/2 time and telling myself I’ve done the right thing (even with Simpson’s 20 points).

        1. Lisa, the name of the game is to go full premo. Cash generation will get you there. Yes you missed out on a massive score from Treloar, but a good rookie move allows you to afford a treloar at M8 instead of a mid priced player come the business end. Even premos put up stinker scores.

  29. Need help friends.

    1st trade was green to rankine via simpkin.
    (Because I need extra cover in the mid this week)

    But second trade,

    TU – Trade fyfe to another premo mid
    (replace a premo with a premo)

    Or

    TD – Trade fyfe to simpson
    (get the good rookies while you can, and simpson should score well anyway)

    Leaning towards Hannan as his scores are trending upwards, but Ham’s minutes seem more solid at 75ish

        1. Thanks Dann. I think I just needed one person to suggest Hibberd. He is a bit of a pod rookie so willing to take a bit of a risk. Should get plenty of opportunity around the contest with Shiel out.

          Think I’m fielding Picket and Hibberd in the guts over Bennell and Taylor. Cheers.

  45. For the first time this season I have too many mid and fwd rookie options.

    I will take Simpson’s 78 and plan to field Rankine over Budarick so that means I can field any two of Pickett, Bennell, Hibberd, Taylor.

  46. So last week I decided to have a few beers on Saturday afternoon….Beers and playing SC don’t always work out. I checked my phone at 350 in the afternoon and realised I’d forgotten to field Brander to loop Hills score. So I got stuck with 47 from Williamson. But I also forgot to upgrade to Yeo lol. In the end I got Simpkin in and he didn’t let me down.
    Anyway to this weeks conundrum. Who to field at f6?

    But I presume Matthew Lloyd and a lot of the media are talking about Geelong needing a rebuild, there was 2-3 days of it when the Pies beat the Hawks last week,
    Geelong kicked 8 more points and are apparently flag contenders,
    Sorry for the sarcasm, but I just get annoyed at Dickhead pseudo Journalists making idiotic statements.

    And yes I’m a hawks fan, and yes it may be true.

    Just needed to get that of my chest.

    1. Great question Jez and I am debating a very similar one.
      Gut feel right now for me is that I had Ceglar in my initial team and I am leaning towards holding him as we will probably need ruck cover at some stage in this whack season.

      Hopefully his injury is not more than a couple weeks, if it is longer than I probably move him on, but I will hold this week
