    Not bad. Guns all fired, especially Big Maxxy. A few poor rookie scores, but most people are copping them. Only glaring issue (besides West Coast losing to the Suns somehow ffs) is Doedee. Excitedly brought him in this week for him to serve up a 39, ugh! Have the week to figure out whether to burn more trades and cut my losses or stick it out. Pittonet looking interesting…

    Projected 2230. Jelly, Whitfield, DSmith, Dunkley, Long and Taylor to come. Midfield is firing (Neale, Fyfe, Oliver, Rowell). Duds are popular with most – ie. Dusty, Pickett, Noble, Doedee.
    Looking towards a move up the rankings.

    Really need Tom Green and BZT to NOT play so Starcevich and Rowell’s emg scores count. Please, please, please!!

    Viney on debut will earn a $$ but Doedee and Wingard’s scores were way unders. Rivers was a good pick up but Howe was the pick of the trades.

    Hoping for 2300 but 2200ish more likely.

    J Kelly ( C ), Macrae, Dunkley, Toby Greene,D Smith, Townsend,Sauce (Naismith replacement.) and Starc’s 99 still to come.

    No Gawn and no Neale 🙁

    I just couldn’t bring myself to sideways trade Dunkley or Oliver for Neale. I’m really hoping Dunkley goes huge to help confirm that was the right call.

    I went early on Bennell and Rivers.
    Darcy Cameron comes in next week.
    Pittonet or another premium defender will most likely be my other trade, depending on what Sauce manages to score.

    1. I grabbed Bennell and Rivers too this week, and Cameron. My side, like quite a few sides I guess, was going to have huge cash generation problems if there wasn’t some rookies shopping done with the 5 trades available.

      This season is going to be one hell of a ride, good luck to all.

        I used all 5 trades in the end. I could see a heap of Bubble boys popping up next week and only 2 trades to try to grab the best of them. I never like to go early on Rookies, but this year we needed to make an exception.

        In hindsight I could of kept Luko, I just felt with D Smiths BE and high ownership he was a must have.
        Townsend* was a gut feel choice that may not work out.
        I probably should of gone straight to D Cameron but I guess I can do that trade if he spuds it up this today.

    Roberton to Howe
    Dunkley to Neale
    Rivers in for a non playing rookie down back
    I wanted Petracca but decided to keep Brayshaw and bring in the Rivers for cash generation

  16. Well, Rowell ruined my week. A 90-120 would have been expected but a 170! Kid’s a gun.
    And while i made a tactical decision not to start him and it’s backfired so far, no one can say they expected that score.

  17. I managed to get 2135 this round but I’m in a pretty bad spot for the next couple weeks. Laird is killing me and I need to get rid of him but I have bigger things I need to do first.
    I stupidly didn’t put Bennell in for Tom green last week and it’s going to cost me a trade his week.
    I have two other rookies that didn’t play so I think I need to prioritise getting good rookies over replacing my premiums
    I need your guys opinions
